I only knew Chris for a relatively short time however, in that time Chris became a great friend to me and the entirety of my family. Chris was truly one of the most educated people that I have ever met: we would have in depth conversations about a huge variety of topics, in which I would mostly be taken back by the huge amount of knowledge he had to offer. If I had to choose one memory that will stick with me forever, it would be when we participated in our weekly celebratory clap for the NHS staff during the first lockdown and Chris brought his guitar out to play. He played the song with an overwhelming amount of passion and it just uplifted our whole street. I think what this story of Chris shows is how much he had influence over people's lives - he was a genuinely a kind person. I truly miss Chris already but I know that he and Sheila are back together. It goes without saying that this world was a better place with Chris in it. - Calum Davenport
