Chris and I spent many happy hours travelling to and from Masonic meetings.  The journeys always passed very quickly as Chris told me anecdotes about bridge structures, the various road junctions we passed and the correct way of setting up road improvement schemes to mention but a few.

Meetings will not be the same without him; always an excellent and sincere ritualist, raconteur and friend to all.  It was a privilege to call him a friend.
