I knew Chris as a good friend. Our paths merged 35 years ago through Mark Masonry and subsequently in other Orders culminating in working together as his deputy for three years when he was PGM of the Mark Province of Bedfordshire.
Family was always important to Chris and, although Sheila and his daughter Jo  came first, his Mark Mason family had a high priority in his life and this was evident in the way he conducted the affairs of the Province.
If guidance was needed, Chris was a good source of sensible and sound advice. He is going to be greatly missed by all his Masonic friends.
His best legacy is that when he is spoken of people will smile and bring back memories of happy times together.
I send my sincere sympathy to all members of Chris’s family.
