Well I don't know where to start Sheila and Chris had a stall at the antiques fair that my husband and me ran at Flitwick Village Hall This was 30 years ago Sadly my husband passed away aged 62 and I was 52 Oh my goodness Sheila and Chris were just the best friends I could have asked for doing so much to help and support me Chris gave a speech at his funeral and what a marvellous one it was Also when after a few years I met Peter they were both so pleased for me and made us so welcome once again They used to go into the office and Chris would play his guitar and Peter was an ex drummer You can imagine the noise!!! So when Sheila passed away I was devastated and knew how much Chris would miss her When I heard he was ill I tried to contact him and left messages on his phone but alas I didn't hear from him Then I got the sad news of his passing I was devastated They were such a special couple who were always meant to be together ❤ and now the are I miss and love them immensely Rest in peace together my lovely friends

Although we only knew Chris and his lovely wife Sheila for over a year, we have learned that they were the Best Neighbours you could ever ask for! Chris the kind of man that would see my Husband struggle in the garden and say Garry you need this tool for that job, the next minute the tool gets flung over the fence, literally. Chris was such a smart, kind and generous man. Many times I would come home from work and he is having a cuppa outside with one of the other neighbours and he would offer me a bit of what he had been baking that week. I loved the Lemon drizzle the best! Chris would always offer us some of their surplus produce from their beautiful garden. I especially used to love relaxing in our garden and hearing Chris play such lovely songs on his guitar. I am glad I told him I loved hearing him play. Chris loved cooking very much and I once bumped into him at Sainsburys where he said he was doing a food shop as he was cooking for his family on the weekend. He always spoke of all 3 his grandchildren and family, I feel like I know them. What a top Man! We miss him and Sheila. Each night the light is on in his kitchen and I can see it from my living room. It is just so very sad that you are both no longer there. We loved having you as our neighbours. Thank you for all you did for us. Rest in peace Chris and Sheila. Our condolences to the family and friends.
Much Love René and Garry Farquhar
